This project utilised a RapidPress press-fit installation for a vacuum column designed for zero-alcohol wine production. The system works by heating wine to boiling point under vacuum, gently removing alcohol while protecting product quality. The installation also ensures wine waste streams are treated effectively: the recovered alcohol can be repurposed for use in other alcoholic beverages, as a fuel source, or as a glycol substitute. Additionally, this process prevents wastewater from containing residual alcohol, supporting both sustainability and compliance.
