RapidPress Portal & Training Video – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to access and use of The Metal Company (TMC) RapidPress Portal and the RapidPress Training Video (together referred to as the Training). By accessing, watching, or using the Training, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Purpose of the Training
The RapidPress Training Video has been developed by The Metal Company using our knowledge, experience, and practical understanding of RapidPress products and systems at the time of creation. The Training is provided for educational and guidance purposes only.
While every effort has been made to ensure accuracy and clarity, the Training should not be considered a substitute for professional judgement, site-specific assessments, or compliance with applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
2. No Liability for Errors or Omissions
TMC has taken reasonable care to present accurate and up-to-date information. However:
- We do not guarantee that the Training is free from errors, omissions, or outdated information.
- TMC is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from reliance on the Training.
- Users remain fully responsible for verifying information and ensuring correct application in real-world use.
3. User Responsibility
It is the responsibility of each user to:
- Watch the Training in full
- Understand and retain the information provided
- Apply the Training correctly and appropriately
Certification confirms that the Training has been completed — not that competency, workmanship, or compliance has been assessed on-site.
4. RapidPress Use Requirement
The Training and certification are valid only for:
- Approved RapidPress users and supporters
- Installations where RapidPress (RP) products are used, as demonstrated in the Training
Certification does not apply to alternative systems, non-RapidPress components, or non-approved installation methods.
5. Updates & Rewatching the Training
From time to time, TMC may update or refresh the Training content to reflect product changes, improved methods, or new information.
- Users are encouraged to rewatch the Training whenever updates are released
- Continued best practice depends on staying current with the most recent version of the Training
6. Refresher Training Recommendation
TMC recommends that all certified users complete a refresher training every 24–36 months.
- Refresher training can be requested directly through TMC
- We will recognise that the original Training has already been completed
- Refresher training helps ensure continued alignment with current products and best practices
7. Certification & Training Records
Upon successful completion of the Training:
- Users are recognised as RapidPress Certified
- Training records are held by TMC
- Certification confirms completion of the Training only
8. Certificate & ID Card Issuance
Certified users will receive:
- A RapidPress Certificate
- A RapidPress ID Card
These credentials:
- May be retained by the individual if they change employers or workplaces
- Must be disclosed to TMC if the user changes businesses
- Remain subject to these Terms and Conditions
9. Refresher Certification
When a refresher Training is completed:
- A new certificate and ID card will be issued
- Previous certificates may be superseded
- Updated records will be maintained by TMC
10. Access & Misuse
Access to the RapidPress Portal and Training is provided for individual use only.
Users must not:
- Share, copy, distribute, or reproduce the Training content
- Allow unauthorised access to the Portal
- Misrepresent their certification status
11. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or completing the RapidPress Training Video, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the Training.
